Silver sands beach
The closest of all, only two minutes walk away is the beautiful Silver sands beach. This beach is patrolled by surf lifesavers and is safe for swimming. The crystal clear water holds a myriad of fish that can be caught in the surf or out on a boat. The beach is very wide and vehicles are permitted. There is also a playground and kiosk at the ramp for the obligatory icecream or snack.

The famous McLaren Vale wine area is just 15 minutes away. Start at the visitors centre www.visitorcentre.com.au, visit some of the 50 wineries or enjoy some of the fabulous eateries found in the area.
